On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the end of Confucian education in Vietnam (1919-2019), the special exhibition "Confucian education under the Nguyen dynasty and some eminent literates in Hue area" is organized at Hue Royal Antiquities Museum by Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with National Archives Center I.

The exhibition aims to reappear part of education and examination under the Nguyen dynasty. Besides, the views of the monarchical state on the education and examination in history, the eminent literates of the country in this period mentioned in the Imperial Archives, Han-Nom documents and artifacts from the families of Confucian doctoral laureates under the Nguyen dynasty are also introduced to the public through the exhibition.

This will be valuable documentary sources for researchers and educational managers’ deeper understanding of Vietnam's educational history to have appropriate plans, policies, etc. in building an advanced education but still retaining the core values that Confucian education has brought.

The special exhibition "Confucian education under the Nguyen dynasty and some eminent literates in Hue area" will take place from December 23, 2019 to March 23, 2020 at Hue Royal Antiquities Museum (03 Le Truc St., Hue city).
Opening hours: from 7am to 5pm daily.
