Section of Cham antiques at Hue Royal Antiquities Museum
Because of the respect for the past and art love, from 1915, the Association des Amis du Vieux Hué tried to preserve priceless artworks by collecting and store at the New Library all things that are reminiscent of the glorious past, the rites and customs of the Vietnamese and the royal life of the Nguyen dynasty in Hue and many extremely valuable Champa sculptures.
Exhibition “ĐỒ SỨ KÝ KIỂU: THE CHINESE PORCELAINS MADE FOR VIETNAMESE COURT IN THE LÊ - TRỊNH, THE NGUYỄN LORDS AND THE NGUYỄN ERAS” FLOWER OF THE EARTH
During feudal times, wealthy Vietnamese clients, including imperial rulers, mandarins and merchants, commissioned patterned porcelains (ĐSKK) from kilns in China. These special-ordered objects were designed to meet the aesthetic tastes of their Vietnamese buyers.
Exhibition "100 YEARS OF AN DINH RESIDENCE" (1917-2017)
On the occasion of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (23/11) and the 100th anniversary of An Dinh residence (1917 - 2017), Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, belonging to Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, organizes the exhibition "100 years of An Dinh residence".
Exhibition "Royal Treasures of the Nguyen Dynasty"
(Hue City, December 06, 2016), Hue Monuments Conservation Centre cooperates with Vietnam National Museum of History to organize the exhibition "Royal Treasures of the Nguyen dynasty" at Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities (03 Le Truc Street, Hue City).
Exhibition at Hieu Tomb (tomb of emperor Minh Mang)
On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2012 and the 177th deathday anniversary of emperor Minh Mạng (1841 - 2018), on February 12, 2018, the exhibition was opened at Sung An temple to introduce some antiques relating to emperor Minh Mang to commemorate, honor and affirm the great contribution of this emperor to the history of the nation.
The exhibition "The Royal Medical Office under the Nguyen dynasty viewed from the World Documentary Heritages in Vietnam”
Under the Nguyen dynasty, the Royal Medical Office was the agency responsible for health care for the royal family, mandarins in the court, and the health of the soldiers and the people. During the operation, the Royal Medical Office under the Nguyen dynasty played an important role in the medical field and left many achievements in Vietnamese traditional medicine.
The exhibition "Country names and capitals of Vietnam through historical periods (from the beginning to 1945)"
Since the dawn of the nation, Vietnam has witnessed many ups and downs, overcome many upheavals to survive and continue developing on the way of integration and development.
The Section of Cham Antiques - One more unique cultural destination in Hue
On the occasion of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day November 23, Hue Monuments Conservation Center officially reopened the Section of Cham antiques with 3 groups of antiques discovered and excavated in Binh-Tri-Thien provinces, Tra Kieu (Quang Nam province) and Thap Mam (Binh Dinh province) to introduce to visitors the valuable sculptures of the once brilliant Cham civilization and art.
