Exhibition “Royal Lunar New Year seen from the Nguyen’s Woodblocks”

The exhibition “Royal Lunar New Year seen from the Nguyen’s Woodblocks” organised by Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with the National Archives Center IV with about 29 prints of woodblocks and many illustrations is aimed to introduce to the public the court regulations with specific activities of the emperor and mandarins of the Nguyen dynasty in preserving and maintaining the national traditional Tet - lunar New Year. The images of artifacts and contents of the Nguyen dynasty’s Woodblocks - the World Documentary Heritage, introduced in the space of Hue imperial palace - the World Cultural Heritage will contribute to bringing a vivid view of the tangible and intangible cultural values left by the Nguyen dynasty.

The exhibition “Royal Lunar New Year seen from the Nguyen’s Woodblocks” will take place from January 18, 2020 at Long corridor of Dai Cung gate (Hue Imperial City).
