: 14/02/2019 04:18:43
With the theme "Hyperconnected museums: New approaches, new publics" on the occasion of the International Museum Day, May 18, 2018, towards the International Children's Day, June 1st, Hue Monuments Conservation Centre organizes the program "Flying Dream".

The program includes pupils from the Phoenix Education, Primary and Secondary Schools in Hue city. In this program, the pupils can experience specific activities such as: visiting and learning the cultural heritage through antiquities of the Nguyen dynasty exhibited at the museum, participating in royal and folk games, watching demonstration of the stages of inlaying mother of pearl – one of the special decorative forms on utensils and architecture under the Nguyen dynasty, drawing and decorating on the kite, etc. This experiential activity will give the pupils interesting challenges to show their crafting skills, aesthetic taste and arouse creative passion to make a unique kite that marks the pupils’ dreams.
The program offers the pupils opportunities to exchange experiences, strengthen connections and share their learning environment with local culture through practical and useful experiences.
Hopefully, this will be a good starting point on the path of companionship and connection between schools and cultural heritage in the coming time of the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre.
