The exhibition on “Floral images in Hue royal palace”

Welcoming the coming new year, an exhibition entitled “Floral images in Hue royal palace” is held at Long An palace (No.3, Le Truc St., Hue City) by Hue Royal Antiquities Museum (under Hue Monuments Conservation Center).

Decorative forms of floral foliage on the utensils for daily use are one of the most popular decorative forms in the fine arts under the Nguyen dynasty. The exhibition on “Floral images in Hue royal palace” introduces some unique decorative forms of floral foliage on the royal utensils of the Nguyen dynasty. 
Through the techniques of painting, engraving, inlaying, casting, etc. on different materials such as ceramic, wood, glass or precious stones, the decorative forms of floral foliage on Hue royal utensils not only reflect the aspiration of happy life, abundant health, prosperous dynasty and peaceful country but also show the crystallization of the art of making and the aesthetics of the ancient artisans.

The exhibition on “Floral images in Hue royal palace” will take place from 5/12/2018 to 5/4/2019.
