Welcoming Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019, today (April 25th, 2019) Hue Monuments Conservation Center organizes the two exhibitions “Imperial workshops under the Nguyen dynasty seen from the Imperial Archives - the Documentary Heritage in the Memory of the World” at the covered corridor of Dai Cung gate (Imperial City, Hue) and “Imperial workshops under the Nguyen dynasty with the quintessence of Vietnamese crafts” at Hue Royal Antiquities Museum.

Welcoming the coming new year, an exhibition entitled “Floral images in Hue royal palace” is held at Long An palace (No.3, Le Truc St., Hue City) by Hue Royal Antiquities Museum (under Hue Monuments Conservation Center).

Exhibition on Corridor of Forbidden Purple City
In more than 50 architectures in the Forbidden Purple City, the Corridor system is a subsidiary architecture but plays an important role. It not only is the walkway with roof but also connects all buildings in this area, creating a complex of diversified architectures. Existing for nearly 200 years with other buildings in the Forbidden Purple City, the Corridor system was seriously damaged. In April 2016, Hue Monuments Conservation Center restored completely and organized the inauguration of the 760-meter-long Corridor system, contributing to the gradual restoration of Hue Imperial City.
